In the month of October 2013, we started one new campaign named ‘Aatma Nirbhar Karyashala’. Under this campaign we organized 4 workshops at different places. The motive of these workshops is to give training of making artificial jewellrey, jute bags, handicrafts using stitching and embroidery, paintings, etc. to the people of socially and economically backward people especially women, so that they can become economically self dependent and can live a better and respectful life.
First workshop under this campaign was inaugurated in District Jail, Jhansi, on 2nd Oct. by the Jail Superintendent Mr. Anil Kumar.
Second workshop was inaugurated in Orchha village, dist. Tikamgarh on 12th Oct. by the honourable MLA of Niwari Mrs. Meera Deepak Yadav.
Third workshop was started in Chandpura village, dist. Tikamgarh on 18th Oct. and fourth workshop was started in Chamrauaa village, Babina block, Jhansi on 27th Oct.
Above all this, we put a stall in St. Jude Feast organized at St. Jude’s Shrine from 24th to 29th Oct. to sell the products made by the trainees of these workshops and to give them a source of livelihood.
