In the month of October, Pragati Rath joined ‘Swachcha Bharat Abhiyaan’ and started its campaign on cleanliness and hygiene on 2nd of October from village Shantinagar of Prithvipur block of M.P., where we made people aware of the importance of cleanliness and hygiene as well as of the easiest ways to be healthy.
In Rajnagar block of Chhatarpur (M.P.), we continued our campaign of promoting Organic Farming and connecting people with the various government schemes and as a result villagers of Kariyabeeja, Nayapurwa and Aadivasi Tola (Bharwa) took very active participation in making organic manures like Amrit Pani and seed treatment and 6 villagers applied for ‘Van Adhikaar Patta’, 20 ladies applied for ‘Janani Suraksha Yojana’, 1 applied for Laadli Lakshmi Yojana’ and 6 applied for ‘Mukhya Mantri Aawas Yojana’.
In Babina, we started working in a new village named ‘Koti’, there we started Awareness Camps related to health, hygiene, importance of organic farming and education, etc.
On 30th of October, we took another initiative of helping a 7 year old girl Drishti Lakshkaar who is suffering from Thalassemia Majorin every possible manner. For her help we organized a ‘Blood Donation Camp’ in Jhansi and collected 71 units of blood and finance too.
